It's June...Summer's-A-Comin'!

We are getting ready for Summer Reading time here at RML, but I know many of you are waiting for that "end-of-school" time instead! After you get out of school, sleep for a few days and then get yelled at by your parents because you aren't doing anything but sleeping, please consider our Teen Summer Reading Program!

If you've participated in the past, you know that it's completely a do-as-much-or-as-little-as-you-want kinda thing. This year, we are using the Evanced system which allows you guys to log what you're reading online! Beyond that, we will still have fun games you can do and great programs as well, just for you!
Summer Reading kicks off on Monday, June 24 at 6pm. We even have a really cool registration prize for you - not telling what it is.

 But I wanted to mention a few things that I will talk more about as the summer draws near:
1. I have heard from RHAM Middle School about reading requirements - fairly similar to last year, so we will make sure we have the books here at RML on your lists. They do recommend the Nutmeg titles, which we already have and have been flying out of here! This year they have two teen categories: Teen Nutmegs and High School Nutmegs.

2. Please let me know if you'd like to join my Teen e-mail list. I won't bother you normally - just a way to get you information of the Teen Summer Reading Program.
And let me know any books you'd like to see us purchase this summer, or any programs too. We have some ideas (Ms Patty and I are thinking of repeating our success last summer with a movie night - yes, there will be food too).
